Made for creative work

Your project.

A simple commercial license is the starting point. The proposal below explains the intended use of future Ferbez products.

Draft for review — not final license terms.

This text is a working proposal for the store owner and legal adviser to review. Purchases are not enabled in the sample catalog. It does not grant a license to any future commercial product.

Proposed Standard Commercial License

Put the audio to work

The proposed license would let a purchaser incorporate the purchased audio into finished creative projects, including:

  • Commercial and free games, including audio embedded in a distributed game.
  • Films, trailers, animation, and other audiovisual productions.
  • Monetized YouTube videos, streams, and social content.
  • Commercial applications, advertisements, and client productions.

The intended permission includes editing, layering, trimming, and synchronizing the audio as part of those projects. The purchaser would receive permission to use the audio, rather than ownership of its copyright.

Keep the assets inside the project

The proposed restrictions would prohibit selling, sharing, sublicensing, or redistributing the original audio as standalone files, even after minor edits. They would also prohibit putting the audio into a competing sound library, sample pack, asset marketplace, or other product whose main value is access to those audio files.

Embedding audio in a commercial game is an intended permitted use. Providing its raw source audio to players as a separate downloadable pack would require different permission.

Working files shared with collaborators, contractors, or clients need a clearly defined rule before launch. The final license must explain who may access them and whether recipients need their own license.

Attribution and future options

The initial proposal is that a credit to Ferbez Audio would be appreciated but optional. This must be confirmed in the final published license.

Products are prepared to support additional license options later. If an Extended Commercial License is introduced, its permissions, price, and checkout variant must be described separately. No extended rights are currently promised.

Decisions still needed

The store owner must confirm license duration and territory, the number of users or seats covered, the number of permitted projects, client and contractor access, treatment of updates, termination, warranties, liability, and applicable law.

The final version should also address uses such as content identification systems, generative model training, and redistribution in project templates if they are relevant to the catalog.

Final terms must be visible before a customer buys and match the license supplied with the download.
